Best Time to Dive in Himmafushi

January to April: Excellent visibility, Great for reef dives, photography, and pelagic sightings. Mantas are typically seen on the outer atoll side during incoming currents

May to December: Visibility is lower, but marine life remains active.Ongoing currents bring mantas closer to the island, ideal for local manta encounters. Great for muck diving and critter spotting near the reefs

• HP Reef - A colorful soft coral paradise, offering dramatic topography and excellent visibility. Ideal for vibrant reef photography and drift dives

• Himmafushi Corner - Known for strong currents and thrilling pelagic encounters, this site is perfect for experienced divers seeking big fish action and deep blue excitement

• Shark Tank -  A thrilling site where divers can observe sharks in their natural habitat. Expect heart-pounding encounters with grey reef sharks and other large species.
• Nassimo Thila - Also known as Paradise Rock, this pinnacle dive is packed with soft corals, blue-striped snappers, and overhangs. Best explored with a torch and good buoyancy.
• Okkobe Thila - An intricate dive site with coral pillars, swim-throughs, and stunning soft coral formations. Great for intermediate to advanced divers looking to explore reef architecture.
• Lankan Manta Point  - A seasonal manta cleaning station near Lankanfinolhu, best visited from May to November.
• Aquarium - True to its name, this reef teems with schooling fish, moray eels, and reef sharks. A gentle dive site suitable for all levels, offering vibrant underwater life in calm waters.
• Banana Reef -  One of the Maldives' most iconic dive spots, with caves, overhangs, and rich marine life. Great for photography.
• Colosseum - Named for its amphitheater-like shape, this dive features steep drop-offs and frequent sightings of large marine creatures cruising by in the currents
• Middle Point - A balanced dive site offering both reef and channel diving conditions. Expect encounters with reef fish, turtles, and occasional pelagics. Ideal for divers of all levels.
